End of 2016: Homeward Angel by Radio Skies, Mia Dyson Sings Leonard Cohen

RADIO SKIES NEW VIDEO FOR HOMEWARD ANGEL

If you haven't seen or heard our music, I'm excited to introduce you to Radio Skies with this beautiful video for "Homeward Angel," one of my favorites from our debut release.

I think Daniel (Wright, lead singer and songwriter) and director Jorge Vigara nailed the concept: celebrating the purity of childhood and the splendor of California’s ecology.

It features our guitar player Eric Sullivan's daughter and her friends. I'm pumped for him to have such a beautiful artifact of this precious time and proud to see this song brought to life so vividly.

Another gorgeous artifact of a time now passed -- two covers of Leonard Cohen songs that Mia and I recorded in the past year.

She really turned me on to Cohen's work and it's depth and I've become a fan of not just his words, but his actions, his humility, his tenacity and his grace.

We filmed these videos at a location that is no longer part of our lives with the company of a little dog named Bandit who is no longer with us and we recorded them as a love letter for a recipient who can no longer be certain to receive them.
