I've been having fun digging up photos and videos and writing Twitter threads about the song like the one below and this one, which talks about why my therapist deserves credit for this song coming into being.

In April of 2022 I sat down with a guitar and wrote what would become "Light in the Dark" - the kind of song that I would want to resonate through me and out into the world, a synthesizer-and-Zac-Clark fueled celebration of digging deep. (📷 by Brendan Willing James)

Over the last few days I got to go on something of a media tour to celebrate the release.

Here are two highlights:

🎙️ An interview featuring**my musical life story, some live drumming and song performances.**
I was interviewed by Jamie (Sound of Fractures) a new friend and producer from East London. This got a lot of good feedback and I have to say, I just overheard my mom listening to it - it's actually pretty interesting. He and I come from different worlds and yet find a lot of common ground. You might recognize moments from our shared history in the stories I tell.

🎥 Zac Clark and I filmed a live co-writing workshop/career-so-far session from our respective studios.
For two long-winded sons of guns, we actually kept it reined in pretty tight. It was wonderful to revisit early memories of writing together and try to pin down the difference between saying "yes" vs saying "yes, and."

📝 And a bonus read - a thread of my observations about web3/music NFTs.
